Hello! I appreciate the time you’re taking to read about me and what I do. As you can probably tell, I’m an illustrator who loves drawing nerdy stuff. From Dungeons and Dragons to Magic: the Gathering, comics, and cartoons.

I’ve always loved character-centric artwork, and I originally wanted to be a cartoonist working in newspaper comic strips. We can all thank Calvin and Hobbes for convincing me that newspaper comics were a financially viable career path, but it did succeed in one way; it made me fall in love with drawing. From the first moment I picked up a pencil and scribbled a little character on a lined piece of paper I felt powerful, like I could create anything I wanted. It gave me a sense of pride that I had never felt before, and although the road was extremely difficult, even the failures made me feel good, because throughout everything I felt like I had found what I was meant to do.

My art has gone through many changes over the years, but I’d like to think that I’m discovering what I really wanted to create all along. I hope that this comes through when you look at my art, and that you can see the little boy who really wants to make cool pictures for you. I always welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other creatives, and help people bring their ideas to life.
